You may be reading this page because you entered the OVDI or OVDP Voluntary Disclosure programs. Most people who entered these programs did so on the advice of cross-border professionals who did not truly understand the program or understand the alternatives.
Although there are people for whom these programs are suitable, you should NOT presume that entering the program is the right way to go.
Those who entered these programs may be considering whether to do an “opt out”. This is a decision that must be based on all considerations and should be made as objectively as possible.
